Welcome to TechTogether Atlanta's 2023 Hackathon! We are excited to welcome you in person from April 22 - 23rd, 2023. At TechTogether Atlanta, our mission is to empower all people of marginalized genders by providing opportunities to gain valuable skills and explore tech in an inclusive, inspiring, and engaging environment.
The event will take place in the Klaus Atrium at Georgia Tech University. To partake in this event, you must register here. Please refer to our Gender Inclusivity Policy before registering to make sure you are eligible.
Join us for two full days of skill-building and professional development workshops, networking with recruiters, and of course - fun activities like face masks. Each attendee has the option to work with a team to build a project like a website or mobile application with the support of our mentors. Whether it's your first hackathon or your 100th, everyone has something to learn and contribute at this event!
Please register to join us for this carnival-inspired hackathon!
TechTogether's hackathon season is brought to you by Microsoft, Capital One, and Balsamiq.
Requirements
You will have 2 minutes to present your project to each batch of judges, and an additional 2-3 minutes to answer any follow-up questions. Judging will be science fair style. We recommend doing a live demo of your project for your presentation. If your project is not functional, we recommend creating a short PowerPoint describing your project for the judges.
